Brigham City Temple
We had the wonderful chance to walk through the brigham city temple during the open house yesterday. Nate asks me almost daily if he is big enough to go to the temple yet. Well, yesterday he was!
We had an amazing experience. Nate loved it all and Jackson was fascinated by the chandeliers, was so happy and waived at all the ushers.
As a family we were able to stand all together in front of the mirrors in a sealing room. A very tender moment for me! Then in the Celestial room i was humbled by my sweet close-to-the-spirit 3-yr-old. I had picked him up and quietly told him how that room was a special place to say prayers and be close to Jesus. He then looks up at my and asks if he can say a prayer. Touched, I step aside and pull him close to whisper a prayer. After I finish and put him down, he pulls on me and says that HE wants to say a prayer. Floored by his sweet spirit, I ask the temple usher if we can sit down. I do and Nate folds his arms into my lap and bows his head then says a simple, sweet prayer, thanking his Heavenly Father for temples and that he could come to one. After, the usher comments on how great of a little boy I have and I am basically speechless in return. I am so blessed to have such wonderful kids that teach me so much! I have been so blessed to have such a wonderful family I can be with forever! I love the temple!
