Sand Hollow Fabulous-ness

This is Sand Hollow... it's this great state park lake down between Cedar city and St. George and it is Gorgeous! We went down there the last weekend in September and it was the perfect temperature! Not too hot so we didn't burn, but still perfectly warm enough to swim in and feel great!
The rock formation/islands was the greatest part about Sand Hollow...
There's these huge rocks that stick up out of the water and you can jump or dive right off of them into deep crystal clear water! We swam over to that rock island behind us in the picture below and hiked around a bunch on the pretty dixie red rock and found one jumping spot that was a good twenty feet up... I will have you all know, I jumped off it twice!! Jon jumped three times and had no fear, I on the otherhand was rather wimpy...but it was so worth it!
